🎤 Latin Grammy 💿

⭕️ I have received the wonderful news that I have been accepted as a voting member of the Latin Grammy Awards.

⭕️ After several months of waiting, my projects have been positively evaluated and meet the requirements to become part of the Latin Recording Academy.

🎆 San Pedro Fair 🎡

⭕️ Torredonjimeno, my hometown, is celebrating its fair, and today marks its most important day: San Pedro.

⭕️ As tradition dictates, on the day of the lighting ceremony, the official anthem of Torredonjimeno —with lyrics and music by yours truly— is played, usually performed by the Municipal Band. This year, it was broadcast over the loudspeakers to an eager audience, and, in a thoughtful gesture, the lyrics were included in the festival program so everyone could sing along during such a special moment.

⭕️ It is a great joy to know that my music has become part of the soul of these celebrations, accompanying my people in moments filled with emotion.

⭕️ In short, it is a pleasure to speak of my roots, my land, and my people. Despite the time I’ve spent away, my hometown continues to offer me the same support and gratitude as always, still valuing my work and my journey, and expressing it through countless gestures of affection. For all of this, I can still proudly say that I am a prophet in my own land.

🎆 Feria de San Pedro 🎡

⭕️ Torredonjimeno, mi pueblo, está de feria, y hoy celebra su día grande: San Pedro.

⭕️ Como marca la tradición, el día del alumbrado suena el himno oficial de Torredonjimeno —con letra y música de un servidor—, interpretado habitualmente por la Banda Municipal. Este año, ha sonado por megafonía ante un público expectante y, como acierto añadido, se ha incluido la letra en el programa de fiestas, para que las personas allí presentes pudieran cantarlo en ese momento tan especial.

⭕️ Es una enorme satisfacción saber que mi música forma ya parte del alma de estas celebraciones, acompañando a mi pueblo en momentos tan especiales.

⭕️ En definitiva, es un placer hablar de mis raíces, de mi tierra y de mi gente. A pesar del tiempo que llevo fuera, mi pueblo me sigue brindando el mismo apoyo y gratitud de siempre, continúa valorando mi trabajo y mi trayectoria y me lo transmite con innumerables muestras de cariño. Por todo ello, puedo seguir diciendo con orgullo que soy profeta en mi tierra.

💀 Coco 🪕

⭕️ A few days ago, the musical Coco was performed at San Gabriel School in Zuera, Zaragoza, with music arranged by yours truly.

⭕️ Transcribing and orchestrating this wonderful soundtrack was a beautiful challenge.

⭕️ Hace unos días se representaba el musical de "Coco" en el colegio San Gabriel de Zuera, en Zaragoza, cuya música corrió a cargo de un servidor.

⭕️ Transcribir  y orquestar esta maravilla de banda sonora fue un precioso reto.

🎹 Direct to the Conservatory 🎺

⭕️ Our daughter Rocío has been admitted to the Zaragoza Conservatory to study trumpet.

⭕️ Although she was first admitted at the age of 5, we decided to wait a bit, as she was still very young. Now, at 8 years old —with a bit more musical maturity and with her teeth fully developed.— she auditioned again and got in with flying colors!

⭕️ What an adventure! Congratulations and enjoy the journey!

🎹 Directa al Conservatorio 🎺

⭕️  Nuestra hija Rocío ha sido admitida en el Conservatorio de Zaragoza en la especialidad de trompeta.

⭕️ Aunque ya fue admitida con 5 años, decidimos esperar un tiempo, porque era muy pequeña. Ahora, con 8 años —con algo más de madurez musical y con su dentadura ya formada— ha vuelto a presentarse a las pruebas de acceso y ha conseguido entrar ¡por la puerta grande!.

⭕️ ¡Menuda aventura!. Enhorabuena y ¡a disfrutar!

🎥 Film Premiere 🎬

⭕️ The big day has finally arrived: the premiere of Javier Calvo’s film “Cariñena, Wine from the Sea”.

⭕️ Huge thanks to Gonzalo Alonso for trusting me to be part of the creation of its soundtrack, featuring the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra and several renowned artists. It’s been a true honor to contribute to such a special project.

⭕️ The premiere will take place this evening at 8:00 PM at Cines Palafox in Zaragoza.

⭕️ You can watch the trailer, where our version of “Alone Again Or” by Love plays in the background — including its iconic trumpet solo, performed by yours truly. 🎺

🎥 Estreno de película 🎬

⭕️ Por fin ha llegado el día del estreno de la película de Javier Calvo "Cariñena, vino del mar". 

⭕️ Gracias a Gonzalo Alonso por confiar en mí para formar parte de la creación de su banda sonora, en la que han participado la Orquesta Sinfónica de Bratislava y varios artistas de renombre. Ha sido un verdadero honor contribuir a este proyecto tan especial.

⭕️ La Premiere tendrá lugar esta tarde a las 20h en los Cines Palafox de la capital aragonesa.

⭕️ Podéis ver el trailer, con nuestra versión de "Alone Again Or" de Love sonando de fondo (y su famoso solo de trompeta, interpretado por un servidor)🎺

🥁 Premiere in Úbeda (Jaén) 🎺

⭕️ The Music Unit of the Civil Guard, together with the Ubetense Musical Group, will premiere one of my latest compositions, titled "Teniente Almagro", written in honor of Juan Almagro, my father-in-law, for his military career.

⭕️ The concert will take place on May 8th at the Auditorium of the Hospital de Santiago in Úbeda (Jaén).

🥁 Estreno en Úbeda (Jaén) 🎺

⭕️ La Unidad de música de la Guardia Civil junto con la Agrupación Musical Ubetense, estrenarán una de mis últimas composiciones, titulada "Teniente Almagro", escrita en honor a Juan Almagro, mi suegro, por su trayectoria militar.

⭕️ El concierto tendrá lugar el próximo día 8 de Mayo, en el Auditorio del Hospital de Santiago de Úbeda (Jaén).

🥁 Batucada Workshop 🎭

⭕️ On February 27th, we will hold a batucada workshop at CEIP "Los Albares" in La Puebla de Alfindén, Zaragoza.

⭕️ First, we will make drums with recycled materials and then we will teach the basic batucada rhythms using our song "Carnaval" (Carnival in Spanish). It’s going to be so much fun!

🥁 Taller de batucada 🎭

⭕️ El próximo día 27 de Febrero llevaremos a cabo un taller de batucada en el CEIP "Los Albares" de La Puebla de Alfindén de Zaragoza.

⭕️ Primero, haremos tambores con materiales reciclados y luego enseñaremos a tocar los ritmos básicos de batucada sobre nuestra canción "Carnaval". ¡Seguro que lo pasaremos genial!
